This directory contains the Jul. 2008 assembly of the zebra finch genome (taeGut1, WUSTL v3.2.4) in one gzip-compressed FASTA file per chromosome. This assembly was produced by the Genome Sequencing Center at the Washington University in St. Louis (WUSTL) School of Medicine. Repeats from WindowMasker are shown in lower case; non-repeating sequence is shown in upper case. - Checksum values for all files in this directory can be found in md5sum.txt. ------------------------------------------------------------------ If you plan to download a large file or multiple files from this directory, we recommend that you use ftp rather than downloading the files via our website. To do so, ftp to hgdownload.cse.ucsc.edu, then go to the directory goldenPath/taeGut1/chromosomes.
